CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE
January 2005
Dear Members,
We have just completed our
January meeting, which was a tour of Latex Foam Inc. Our thanks to Emile
Drillon from Chapter 148 for arranging the tour. Those in attendance benefited not
only from the technical information that was presented, but also from the
networking opportunities that were available.
As I mentioned in last months
message, I will be discussing many of the benefits available to SME members.
This month, I would like to bring your attention to the award winning SME website:
SME.org. This site offers a wealth of information to the manufacturing
professional. If you haven’t visited it lately, please do so. The time
exploring it will be well spent.
February’s program will be a
tour of Sikorsky Aircraft. Note that the date of the tour is Wednesday,
February 23rd. Dinner will follow the tour at Casa Nova restaurant, just down the road
from Sikorsky. See you there.
