Engineer with SMT PCBA experience for a client manufacturer in the Altoona/Johnstown area in Central PA. An overview

Manufacturing or Process Electrical Engineer
As part of the Printed Circuit Board Assembly team, you will perform engineering/technical assignments within the
factory to support quality, cost, delivery and safety goals. You will work with multi-layer Surface Mount Technology
(SMT) and through hole boards including Ball Grid Array (BGA). You will be familiar with board room operations
and be able to program machinery as well as develop and debug functional diagnostic programs for production test
equipment and printed circuit boards(PCB's). You will ensure systems/production efficiencies and improve quality
by providing technical direction to staff on the board room floor in troubleshooting and enhancing production processes.
You will also develop and review of process documentation, cost estimates and implementation schedules for production.
You will participate on new design projects and lead and participate in monthly kaizens. Position reports to PCBA
Team Leader and is part of a four engineer team.
A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical or Industrial Engineering is required. You will possess at
least 5 years experience with surface mount PCB fabrication/assembly including BGA (ball grid array) and RoHS
compliance. Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools and principles is preferred.You must be technically capable
of grasping new concepts quickly, and willing to learn and adapt to a continuously changing environment. You will
maintain a sense of urgency regarding machine up-time and production demands

Sr. Airframe Process Planner
As a Senior Airframe Process Engineer, the applicant will review Airframe structural designs for producibility
concurrent with the design activity, during preliminary and detail design phases. The candidate will guide designers
on part manufacturing, assembly and installation requirements that align with the project Manufacturing Plan and
the principles of LEAN, including Design for Manufacturing Assembly (DFMA) and Design for Environmental Safety
(DFES). Component designs consist of sheet metal, composite and machined parts. Applicant will participate in technical
trade studies, review/approve drawings, develop manufacturing and tooling plans and cost estimates. Additional
responsibilities include preparation and release of manufacturing planning (operation sheets), tooling requirements,
support offload statements of work for manufacturing planning activity conducted by suppliers and support aircraft
build operations, all in accordance with Sikorsky Process Engineering procedures and Standard Work. The applicant
may also serve in a manufacturing liaison capacity. Performing to cost and schedule allocation in accordance with
the Sikorsky Earned Value Management System is required. Requires a demonstrated ability to work with multi-functional
teams.
BS Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Technology , Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Candidate should have 5 or more years experience in aerospace manufacturing, preferably helicopter assembly, a
working knowledge of LEAN manufacturing principles and geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T). Knowledge
of CATIA would be a plus.

Responsibilities:
1. Implement automated manufacturing solutions for our SD corporate production facilities with particular focus
on high volume production lines. Automated solutions include all aspects of the manufacturing process (extrusion,

7. Responsible for one design element at a time within single discipline.
8. Acquired understanding of the product and clinical applications.
9. Understands direct interfaces (inputs/outputs) within the relevant processes.
10. Leads design reviews of less complex designs.
Technical/Behavioral Requirements:
1. Recommended 2+ years experience in knowledge and application of engineering and scientific concepts in selected
