"Serving on the Executive Committee"
"A lot of our members don't realize the opportunity that serving on the Executive Committee gives them. Committee members get financial experience and pick up management techniques and so forth. Anybody that can operate a voluntary committee like, what we have here at the Executive Committee, can run a department anytime because, there's a big difference between working with people that are on a voluntary basis and just working for somebody, where you tell someone to do 'that' or else. When you're working with volunteers it's a lot more difficult to do. It's a good opportunity for anybody to pick up experience to take and use at home, in their social activities or at work.
