If you are involved in aerospace, medical, automotive, energy or even general machining, this is your opportunity to see the benefits of flexible machining before you make your next investment. Manufacturing must be flexible and responsive to stay competitive. As materials change, tools and processes must evolve with them.

This is what lies at Mazak's Technology Centre Concept – to stay close to the customer in order to develop machining processes, provide training and partner with industry leading suppliers to reach the best solutions possible. Solutions that keep jobs and manufacturing here in Canada and keep you globally competitive.

Mazak Corporation Canada is hosting a major event at its new Canada Headquarters and Technology Centre in Cambridge, April 2-3, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. "Technology for Global Competitiveness" is an important educational opportunity for Canadian manufacturers and job shops who want to keep jobs in Canada and remain globally competitive.

At this event, SME tour group will be provided with a special guided tour by Mazak's technical experts and also the demonstration of the latest in machine tool technology for the aerospace, automotive, energy and general machining industries. Multi-Tasking Machining Solutions, increased productivity through higher spindle utilization, flexible machining capabilities and reduced set-up times all will be explored.
