Requirements by Honda:
Your visit of Plant 1 will last about 1.5 hours, including opening comments and questions and answers. The walking portion of the tour is approximately 45 minutes in duration.

Safety glasses will be provided. This is a walking tour and includes stairs. The tour route is not wheel chair accessible. High heels, sandals, open toed shoes or open heeled shoes cannot be worn. Guests arriving wearing inappropriate footwear will not be allowed into the factory.

Individual guests must be 12 years of age or older and must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of students must be Grade 9 or above.

Groups are limited to a maximum of 30 guests, total, for safety reasons. For student and youth groups, at least one chaperone per 15 participants would be appreciated.
To maintain confidentiality and minimize distractions, cameras, video-cameras, cell phones, pagers, diskmen and other electronic devices are not permitted in the plant. Guests bringing these items will be asked to leave them at Security.

No food or beverages of any kind are allowed in the lobby or on the tour. Vending machines and cafeteria services are not available for guests.

Solicitations of any nature are not allowed.

In compliance with local by-laws, smoking is not permitted within the building (including washrooms, lobby, etc.), outside of Designated Smoking Rooms. These are not available to tour guests. We ask all guests to please refrain from smoking in the building or anywhere else on the property.

It is the tour organizer’s responsibility to relay the following information to your tour group concerning your upcoming tour of our facility. Please remind participants of the key points just prior to the event.

Directions: Take Hwy 400 to Hwy 89 West. Drive through Cookstown towards Alliston on 89 (approx. 18 kms). Turn left at Tottenham Road. Drive straight through the next intersection (Albert St.). The HCM Plant 1 is on the right.
On arrival, stop at the Security kiosk and explain you are here to see Lisa Timpf for the SME tour. Security will direct you to visitor parking.
No high heels, open toed or open heeled footwear. No shorts.
Cameras and video cameras are not permitted inside the plant
