We support manufacturers from all industries and job functions through our events and technical and professional development resources. A firm workforce development supporter, SME invests heavily in manufacturing education.

Akron Chapter 047 has about 100 members, and generally meets at 1:00 pm the second Saturday of every month. We are currently looking for a new meeting location, as our long-time location stopped serving Saturday lunches. Technical meetings and plant tours are scheduled throughout the program year of September through May.
