Welcome to the homepage of the
Atlanta Chapter (Chapter 61) of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME),
where manufacturing comes together in North Georgia! We’re glad you stopped by for a visit.
Our Chapter 61 team strives to
maintain an active schedule of exciting plant tours along with interesting
and informative technical presentations and activities, in order to promote an increased awareness of
manufacturing engineering in our community.
At the same time, we aim to create an environment for local
manufacturing professionals to get together and have some fun, chat with each
other about leading trends and technologies that impact their daily jobs, and
develop friends and contacts that will last them throughout their careers and
lifetimes.
We would love to see you at an
upcoming meeting or event, so check out the News and Upcoming Events section
below and make a plan to come and join us!
