Join us May 13, 2009 Technical Presentation 6:00 p.m. at OCC  The Chapter 69 meeting and technical presentation in May will be presented by Melissa Pletcher, manager of Volunteer Services at the Detroit Science Center. She will be talking about how we can involve the DSC’s Pi Society Docent to help school-age children, in one-on-one or in small groups with adults to learn more about Science. If you have a background in science, engineering, health care or technology and want to share your knowledge and passion for science, you can join the DSC’s Pi Society Docent program and help visitors learn about the science behind more than 200 hands-on exhibits. Volunteers play a vital role in making the exhibits more meaningful and the experience can be incredibly rewarding and fun. You won’t want to miss our May meeting and see a demonstration of some of the fun, simple science toys that volunteers use at the Detroit Science Center to engage children in learning.	Unless otherwise informed Meetings are held every 2^nd Wednesday of the month Location: OCC Auburn Hills Campus Advanced Technology Center (Building T) @ 6pm Tech Presentation @7pm dinner at no charge, guest are welcome *Click on map for enlargement*
