Jim Beavers Letter to SME Chapter 79 Members

Dear Fellow Ann Arbor Area Chapter  079 SME Members,

I am extending a personal invitation, to you, to volunteer your service to Ann Arbor Area Chapter 079 for this, the 75th year of SME.

Involvement as part of the management team offers you an excellent venue to learn and practice organizational and leadership skills that you can use on your daily job. During the past Thirty-seven years, I have been able to grow, personally and professionally, as a result of the skills I learned while participating on the SME team. I have been exposed to local, national and international issues while serving the Chapter, Region and International levels.

What you can do to help the chapter better serve its members.
 
Have you attended chapter events, regularly? If not, what can you do to make the programs more attractive to you and others around you?
   
What type of events would you like to see more of?
            Plant Tours
            Dinner Presentations
            Family Oriented Events
 
Would your company be willing to sponsor a tour of its facility?
 
I ask you again, would you be willing to participate in the chapter leadership?
