Chairman’s Message

Lehigh Valley Chapter 83 is sponsoring a combined event including a Networking Reception and tour of the Lehigh Career & Technical Institute. The Networking Reception includes light refreshments, appetizers, and dinner in the new restaurant facility at the institute. Meet other Engineering professionals in the Lehigh Valley including members of other Engineering societies during the networking reception. Following dinner, take part in a tour of the $58 million
expansion of the institute including:

· Semiconductor & Nanofabrication Lab
· Functioning Distribution Center
· Robotics & Automation Lab
· Advanced Machining Center
· Pre-Engineering Lab Rapid Prototyping System
· Heavy Equipment & Construction Facility

Having seen the expansion of this facility first hand, I really cannot emphasize enough how impressive the facilities are and what they have to offer our local manufacturers and businesses. Please try to make this event as it proves to be an exciting one. Seating is limited to 80 people, so start planning now.
