PREFACE

This procedure has been written to be used as a guideline for the officers and committee persons of Region 9. Its purpose is to establish continuity in operations form year to year. These procedures have been established by the Executive Committee of Region 9 to comply with the Society Governance Documents. If, for any reason, a conflict arises between these Procedures and the Governance Documents, the Governance Documents will prevail. Changes to this Procedure can be made by the Region 9 Executive Committee at any time and will be recorded in the official minutes until a new revision is published.

MISSIONS

The Region has been established to accomplish the following-

  • Provide a vehicle for training in Chapter Management methods.
  • Provide a vehicle for solving common problems of chapter operations.
  • Provide an organizational structure to administer Regional activities and to coordinate Society activities within the Region.
  • Facilitate the growth of existing and new chapters within the Region.
  • Serve as a communication vehicle among members, chapters and the International Organization to more effectively bring the Society's benefits to its members.
  • Facilitate the interchange of ideas and technical information within the Society.

MISSION STATEMENT

North Central Region 9 dedicates itself to the educational enhancement and services for its Members and chapters in promoting the Manufacturing Profession.

VISION STATEMENT

To consistently exceed our member's expectations.
