Scholarship Awards Dinner

July 19, 2000

 

The recipients of Chapter 148 scholarships were honored at an awards
dinner held on July 19, 2000. Members and guests attended the dinner at Rosario's Restaurant in Watertown, CT.

The first annual Perry Pettinicchi Memorial Scholarship was awarded. Mark Girgeuti, a senior at Wolcott High School received the $500 scholarship award. Mark graduated 3rd in his class and will be attending college in the fall for engineering.

Chapter 148 also awarded 2 other students with $250 scholarships:

Laura F. Cimino, a junior at the University of Connecticut.

Dan Grimes, a toolmaker apprentice at ITW Nutmeg. Dan will be attending Naugatuck Valley Community Technical College.
