QUALITY MANAGER
 
PURPOSE and OBJECTIVE

The Quality Manager will manage and coordinate the activities of the Quality Department to establish, maintain and administer quality assurance systems and procedures in order to facilitate customer product development ensuring that all products are in compliance with regulatory safety standards.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Including length of time)

·          10 - 15 years related quality work experience required

·         5 years management experience required

·         5 years automotive experience required

·         Must be able to read blueprints and be familiar with PPAP, FMEA, MSA, Lean/Six Sigma Manufacturing, Control Plans, and statistical applications

·         Must be able to apply required strong analytical and problem solving skills to in-depth knowledge of steel components manufacturing process

·         Computer skills required include use of all Microsoft office applications

·         Necessary communication skills include business and technical writing, conducting effective meetings and leading problem resolution discussions and making internal and external group presentations

·         Ability to travel as required is necessary

·         Proven sense of urgency

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

A Bachelor of Science in Engineering Degree with a technical background

PLANT SUPERVISOR

 
PURPOSE and OBJECTIVE

The Plant Supervisor will train, lead and motivate production personnel to make parts according to customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for material costs, budget, P&L, personnel scheduling and meeting daily production goals as well as following safety standards. The Plant Supervisor is expected to be actively leading and directing at all times on the production floor according to Lean Manufacturing principles. maintain an appropriate labor-management relationship with employees; respond to grievances accordingly; ability to work with the union and Human Resources to discuss and eliminate problems.

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (Including length of time)

·         Three years previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required

·         Demonstrated manufacturing floor level Lean Enterprise implementation experience required.

·         Ability to lead teams in developing vision and process improvements.

·         Proven sense of urgency.

·         Ability and flexibility to lead multiple shift operations in areas of responsibility.

·         Possess 5-S, Pareto, Root-cause analysis and cell manufacturing knowledge and ability.

·         Medium ability to work on computers, word programs, excel, and computerized production systems.

·         Proven sense of urgency

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT

A two year associates degree or appropriate technical or vocational schooling with certification required
