The Best Manufacturing Practices (BMP) Satellite Center (Central U.S.) in Ames, Iowa is sponsored by the Office of Naval Research. Area Director Bruce Coney and Don Hill (Indiana) will be with us on January 22 presenting case studies and examples of BMP that we might institute in Welding and Manufacturing. He will also help determine if we have systems that can be verified as being a Best Practice and explain what advantage that designation might have.
