Mr. Johnson will present an overview of patenting considerations for engineers, designers and product developers from the date of concept through the issuance of the patent.  He will highlight the necessary steps an inventor should take to ensure protection of new ideas and products.

As an attorney with Lathrop & Gage Mr. Johnson specializes in intellectual property, Internet, computer and technology law.  His background includes litigation of product liability cases, environmental and antitrust matters and is a published author.
