SME Chapter 327 was founded on 12/11/1985.

The chapter was started in 1985 with an initial meeting of 80 prospective members. It is one of 4 chapters in NH. As of this writing chapter 327 services 84 SME members in the southern NH area. We have a monthly mailing list of over 200.
The primary goal of our chapter is to show our members other ideas in manufacturing and to provide a forum for information exchange. Many of our members have spent their entire careers in manufacturing and are a valuable resource to newer startup firms looking to build strong businesses.
Our usual membership year consists of ten meetings, with none in July or August. Typical meeting agendas include plant tours, or guest speakers. The subject matter encompasses topics ranging from current trends in manufacturing, to intellectual property issues, and personal development. 
This website is just one of the member services for the chapter. We hope to bring other new services and events to our membership in the coming year.

Prospective speakers take note: We have observed more than a couple of our members to have purchased plant equipment or services based upon presentations made 3 - 5 years ago at a chapter meeting, or based upon a referral from another chapter member. Few other marketing efforts will continue to yield potential business more than 3 years down the road.
