Presenters Bio
Mr Warren Jackson grew up in Saskatchewan on a farm. Received two degrees from University of Saskatchewan, a Bacholor of Arts & Science (Economics/Math Majors),and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Mkt Majors). Joined BDC in Saskatoon in May 1997. After many promotions to Senior Manager Loans, he transferred to Edmonton in December 2001 to become Branch Manager of a newly-created Edmonton South Branch. In April 2004, he moved downtown to become Area Branch Manager of Business Development and Underwriting for the Alberta North Area.

About the Presentation
Mr Jackson will cover a bit about BDC and what we do. After which he will focus on "Starting a Business", following through some of the steps necessary to assess your business viability to wrapping up your first year. Mr. Jackson will introduce a variety of tools BDC has available online to help with a business start-up. He will also cover some of the financial solutions BDC has to offer. Lastly he will cover some of the consultation services available like business planning to management coaching. If you have an idea that you want to ask questions about now is the time.
