Mark Hughes is the principal and owner of Sintra Engineering. Mark is a Senior Mechanical engineer who has worked in the area of Forensic Engineering since 1991 after a few years as a plant engineer in Ontario. Registered as a Professional Engineer in several provinces and the two territories, he graduated from the University of Alberta's Co-op program (1987 - Mechanical) and has worked in a number of areas before focusing on the area of Forensic Engineering.
Sintra Engineering provides forensic engineering services for insurance and legal clients throughout Western Canada specializing in technical investigation of incidents involved in litigation. Since its operations began in the spring of 1997, Sintra has grown and now has a staff of 12 engineers.
