Since 1922 Norwood Foundry has established itself as been very well known for its diversity in producing a wide range of small, intricate castings to very large pieces. The wide range of castings made out of gray and ductile iron, aluminum, brass and bronze have always been and continue to be produced with a high standard towards quality. Norwood has been able to meet the customer driven demands in quality by investing in new technologies to meet such demands in the marketplace.
It is this technology that the speakers Kenneth (Ken) French and Mike Harper will discuss in the technical presentation. The technical presentation will detail such technologies as sand moulding and gravity die casting, as well as how true-to-pattern and dimensionally accurate castings are produced.
