Oconomowoc High School Robotics Team
Has Outstanding Season!

Hello OHS CooneyTech Robotics Fans. This has been a great season for the CooneyTech team. First we went to Duluth for the Northern Lights Regional and took 2nd Place with the Oshkosh and Pewaukee Teams. There the students received second place medals and a trophy.

This weekend we attended the WI FIRST Robotics Regional in Milwaukee. Our robot ran great all day Friday and all morning Saturday but the team was in 46th place out of 57 teams at the end of the preliminary rounds. Once again we joined Oshkosh in the finals along with a team from Tremont, Illinois. This alliance had the highest score at the regional and one of the higher scores in the nation with 186 points in the semi-finals. The finals were a wild and hard fought battle with one of our alliance partners flipped on its side in the third and final match. The alliance lost in finals and so once again took second place. The students all got to get medals and trophies and had a great educational experience too.

Having two, second place finishes and being on the alliance with the highest score at the regional are outstanding accomplishments for the team. We want to thank all our sponsors, family and friends for their support.
