Lean Manufacturing is an operating strategy that seeks to maximize operational effectiveness by creating value as seen through the eyes of the customer. Lean production is aimed at the elimination of waste in every area of your operation including customer responsiveness, product development, supplier networks, and operations management.

Companies that have implemented lean programs have achieved

Gary E. Loblick, P. Eng., MBA

GARY E. LOBLICK is currently a Consultant and Senior Executive Coach specializing in Process Innovation, with unique skills in operational implementation of transformation, revitalization, and turnaround programs. Spending the majority of his 30 year career as an owner, President/CEO, or Senior Manager in large and small manufacturing based industries, he has assisted with corporate expansions, manufacturing and operations improvements, and re-vitalized dying companies or divisions. Gary, as President and General Manager has successfully launched lean initiatives in a number of organizations over his career.

As President of The Winslow Group, Gary works with client companies as a Lean Manufacturing Implementation Coach. Highly skilled in the implementation of Innovation Best Practices, including Lean Manufacturing, he focuses on key leverage points that produce the fastest impact on bottom line profits. He believes in developing people, the power of the team, continuous improvement, and learning organizations. As acting CEO/COO he is extremely effective in developing strategic alliances, partnerships, and new marketing channels, having developed and successfully completed major alliances, technology transfers, and business development projects in Europe, Asia, Australia, and North America. Gary co-wrote and presents the Lean Manufacturing course for NAIT Continuing Education. He is a member of CME’s Alberta Board of Directors, and still owns and operates a small manufacturing operation in the Edmonton region.
