Introducing Local Chapter Program Outlines
The SME local chapter outlines programs are national and local best practice programs developed to support our local SME chapters. Our goal is to provide at-the-ready programs that can be used in downloadable formats you can customize to meet your chapter's needs.
These programs are simple! Just select one you may be interested in, click on the link and read through the overview of the program. Guidance and instructions will be are provided, as well any promotional materials associated with each program. You can use some or all of the materials provided and customize the information based on your local requirements.
We will be adding new program outlines on a regular basis, so be sure to be on the lookout!

Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Although Manufacturing Day officially occurs on the first Friday in October — this year it's Oct. 7, 2016 — any day can be a Manufacturing Day. At SME, we encourage our local chapters to get involved! To help get you started, please utilize the Manufacturing Day Toolkit.
