	The Society of Manufacturing Engineers is an organization of engineers dedicated to helping others to further their professionalism, knowledge, and learning. Our Mission: Enhance student education and increase marketability in the workplace, as well as provide an interface between students and industry. Benefits: You can receive the Manufacturing Engineering magazine each month, with it's articles on current and cutting edge manufacturing technology SME NEWS (mailed six times a year) will keep you abreast of the upcoming events, seminars, and chapter activities. Membership will also give you the opportunities to meet other engineers with whom you can learn from and share ideas. SME members benefit from free school seminars held at the university where professionals share their experience in a format that will help students. Resume database maintained by SME will give you a greater ability to find jobs after your college experience!
