Earlier WESTEC Projects
 Our chapter has a great record of wins at WESTEC.  We won 3 grand Prizes, 2 first prizes, and one third prize in our first 6 years of competition!  Here are a few pictures of those projects.

The Grasshopper Off-Road Wheelchair
The Grasshopper Off-Road wheelchair won Grand Prize at WESTEC in 1999.  Possibly our best effort and a great project!

High Gear  Logo   
High gear was the company name for the Rack Lobster, a pickup-bed bicycle rack entry.  This one won third place in the University Division Competition at WESTEC in 1997.  

Mount 'n Gear Logo   
Mount 'n Gear was the company name for the Shock Lock suspension modification for a Specialized Off-Road bicycle.  It won Grand Prize at WESTEC in 1996.   The winning team:

Rocket Launcher Logo   
The rocket Launcher won first place in the University Division Competition at WESTEC in 1995.  It was our first competitive entry.  It was a great project, elegant, simple, designed to help high school science teachers illustrate aerodynamics and the gas laws in a simple toy.
