How to Join

SME is open to any student, graduate or undergraduate, interested in manufacturing engineering. Members come from departments such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, though the society is not restricted to these majors.

First year membership dues for a student are $20. This will grant you membership to the national organization and our local chapter.
