Pennsylvania College of Technology

Exciting speakers with experience on the cutting edge of manufacturing technology are being scheduled to speak at the monthly meetings. If you have a topic worthy of discussion at an SME meeting, we would be glad to have you speak, or if you could arrange to have a speaker from the industry we would appreciate that as well. We are attempting bring people who can provide talks that would allow Pennsylvania College of Technology engineering students to use competitive, efficient manufacturing processes and methods in the industry. Plant trips will be planned to all sorts of interesting places.

Previous tours included Hardinge Machine Tools, Hon Industries, Williamsport Pattern Works, and Oberg Industries. We have had technical presentations on hard turning using cubic boron nitride, cryogenic treatment, and Engineering Ethics.
