The Society of Manufacturing Engineers serves its members and the international manufacturing community through the advancement of professionalism, knowledge and learning. The Pennsylvania College of Technology SME Student Chapter is an organization whose purpose is to promote interaction between members by meeting and arranging activities.
The Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) is a professional society dedicated to the advancement of scientific knowledge in the field of manufacturing engineering. Since its founding in 1932, SME has provided direction for the evolution of manufacturing, and has gained an international reputation for manufacturing technology leadership. SME has over 75,000 members in 70 countries and sponsors over 300 senior chapters and 200 student chapters worldwide.
